Your student organization can participate in an important and historic event from September 12 – September 20, 2013.
Your group can help visitors examine the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The College of Engineering’s Center for Engineering Diversity and Outreach (CEDO) is soliciting student organizations to serve as hosting organizations.
If your organization would like to participate, several opportunities and a wide array of service dates are available during that period.
Hosting Organizations Will:
- · Commit to providing exhibit hosts for an entire day of two - hour shifts from 8:30-5:00 (A total of 8 students)
- · Promote exhibit hosting as a service opportunity for your organization’s service hours
- · Encourage individuals to volunteer for 1 two-hour shift during the 9-day run of the exhibit
- Be recognized in exhibit materials
Individual Host Responsibilities include:
- · Guiding visitors through the exhibit
- · Helping visitors examine the array of documents from Dr. King’s life
- · Sharing brochures and materials
- · Encouraging visitors to share their dreams on the “Dream Wall”

Wednesday, September 12th 12:00-12:45 pm (Conference Room 4 - Duderstadt Center)
Friday, September 13th from 8:00-8:30 am (Exhibit Entrance)
